Lenovo has recently unveiled its all-new Lenovo ThinkPad P52 laptop at the NXT BLD conference. With the launch of the ThinkPad P52 laptop, Lenovo un-wraps its VR-ready certified notebook for professional users looking forward to comprehensive performance like virtual reality and 3D content on their workstation. Look wise, ThinkPad P52 laptop is identical to its older ThinkPad version. But there are a number of changes made in the favor of the all-new Lenovo ThinkPad P52 laptop.
Lenovo ThinkPad P52 laptop is designed with sports top end specifications and VR features. It is further featured with 8th generation Intel Xeon hexa-core chipset along with an NVIDIA Quadro P3200, which supports all graphics intensive workload. ThinkPad P52 is designed with 128GB of DDR4 RAM, which not only allows playing VR and AR content but also assisting developers to edit and create at the same. However, internal storage on the top of the variant can also be expandable up to 6TB.
Lenovo ThinkPad P52 is powered by 15.6-inch Ultra-HD/ 4K touchscreen display along with 400 nits maximum Abode RGB coverage and NTSC color gamut of 100 percent. Hence, P52 laptops are implemented with a high-quality display. Lenovo further added VR support for the 15-inch mobile workstations. That also makes ThinkPad P52 an initiative of a minimum number of a compact desktop of the similar size to share same capabilities. However, considering its remaining features, the all new Lenovo ThinkPad P52 laptop looks much like the older P series laptops.
Lenovo ThinkPad P52 is basically the first laptop to get equipped with VR-Ready. Look wise, ThinkPad P52 laptop is designed with basic black body along with similar functional design, which is common in all the laptops of ThinkPad P series. Considering its ports, Lenovo ThinkPad P52 is designed with 1 mini Display Port 1.4, 2 USB-C/ Thunderbolt, 3 USB 3.1 Type-A, HDMI 2.0 and SD card reader. Connectivity options consist of- 5.0 Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Gigabit Ethernet and Cat 9 4G LTE option. This smart device weights 2.5 kilograms and measures 14.9 x 9.9 x 1.0-inches.
Lenovo ThinkPad P52 is designed with an infrared camera for the purpose of facial recognition in an extra 720 webcam as well as Windows Hello. For this ThinkPad P52 laptop, Lenovo will offer its users with five alternative operating system options for the purpose of developers need. Therefore, the five operating system options are Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations, Red Hat Linux, Ubuntu and Windows 10 Home. However, this device will also be pre-loaded with a trail of 2016 Microsoft Office and Lenovo Vantage. With its updated features, manageability and advanced security, this all-new P52 laptop has the potential to take on its users’ total workload.
Lenovo ThinkPad P52 VR-Ready laptop for its unique and implemented specifications makes this smart device a high-demanding choice for buyers looking forward to developing VR apps or engaged in the 3D graphic designing work as well as video editing. However, the price tag for this smart device is yet to get officially declared by the company. Hence, it is expected that Lenovo will surely declare the official price tag of Lenovo ThinkPad P52 laptop within the coming months and will surely grab the attention of potential customers.
