BMW X5 Coming 2019


The fourth-generation BMW X5 does not look dramatically different at its first glance but everything about this super featured car is new. This fourth-generation car packs even more technology than ever made before, as everything seems inside an SUV body that has indulged in every aspect. The all-new 2019 BMW X5 is expected to get unveiled this year October at Paris Motor Show.

2019 BMW X5 is featured with both options of 19-inches and 22-inches wheels. Interior of the fourth-generation BMW X5 is designed with a range of climate control along with necessary buttons under the 12.3-inch center screen, two-axle air suspension and new switchgear on its lower center console. This supercar has also been updated with a cluster digitalized instrument, which is lined by a big central touchscreen for the purpose of assisting all infotainment functions happening on the right.


Interestingly, 2019 BMW X2 is designed with similar cluster architecture (CLAR) platform just like the BMW 7-series with the latest suspension. The all-new suspension includes a rear five-line axle and double wishbone front as well. As per as the preliminary data is considered, the all-new 2019 BMW X5 measures 78.9-inch wide, 194.7-inch long and 70.5-inch tall along with 117.1-inch wheelbase. This makes BMW X5 2.6-inch wider, 1.4-inch longer, 0.75-inch taller than the BMW X3 along with 1.65-inch enhanced in the wheelbase.


Irrespective of its improved cargo space in both second and third row, BMW X5 is expected to be much lighter in weight than its current model. Reports further suggest 200kg weight lesser in the all-new BMW X5. This super featured car is expected to offer a range of 4.4-liter eight-cylinder, 3.0-liter straight-six and 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine along with option of 3.0-liter six-cylinder and 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine. However, it is expected that most buyers will opt for V8, 4.4-liter turbocharged engine, which will produce 529 hp combined with all-wheel xDrive.

Exterior of 2019 BMW X5 is more convincingly designed with considerably slimmer horizontal taillights, rear and front LED DRLs headlights, matte-aluminum roof and trim rail and squared-off tailpipes. BMW is also interested for electrification, therefore, X5 will be a plug-in-hybrid version mixed with 2.0-liter turbo four electric powers. BMW X5 M is surely going to use V8 twin-turbo engine, which will have the potential to deliver 600 hp.


Under its hood, the interior of X5 is upgraded with iDrive infotainment system of 7th generation along with 12.3-inch touchscreen display on its dashboard and a rotary controller. With different layouts and pages, the home screen layout can be controlled. A new safety feature, emergency Stop Assistant is also implemented in this fourth-generation super featured car. Buyers are given with both the option of two rows and three rows of seats. Depending on your need and budget can opt for anyone out of the two.

The 2019 BMW X5 with all its upgraded features is assumed to go on for sale this year November with pricing details to be declared closely sometime before November. Therefore, with more powerful and packed features, 2019 BMW X5 is expected to draw the attention of almost every car enthusiasts. Like other BMW SUVs (other than X1 and X2), BMW X5 will surely continue to be produced at South California’s BMW Plant Spartanburg. This fourth-generation car will also throw a great challenge to its competitors, Audi Q7, Mercedes- Benz GLE, Lexus RX, Volvo XC90 as well as upcoming Lincoln Aviator and Cadillac XT6.
